Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles, California on September 16, 1958. The conditions were miserable. Her mother worked as teacher at a local school and was an unremarkable actor, and her father sold cars. Jennifer, the second of the four children in her family, frequently attended her mother to performances in the theater and was very impressed with her. Jennifer's divorce came about when she turned five. Jennifer spent the majority of her childhood within British Columbia when her mother moved there with the four children. Jennifer wasn't a very artist, even though she did have an artistic talent as a kid. In Canada she was the victim of bullying frequently. The actress began losing interest in the theater during her time in high school. Her mother urged her to play extra roles in various performances. The influence of her mother was to inspire all the kids in her family to develop a passion for and interest for arts. Then she began acting.
