Kellie Martin, the American actress and filmmaker popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Also, she is known for being the main character in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven years old. Her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's kids, was a big help in landing her an unimportant role in the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more seriously. Her roles were significant on television as well as the big screen. Martin as well as being an actor, is also a skilled photographer and ballet dancer.
